Since 2007, James has been building on his SEO experience through agency and in-house positions, running projects for IT, private medical care, law firms, engineering, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, education, construction, and agriculture companies. His years of experience mean he has become an expert in technical SEO, SEO strategy, SEO auditing, keyword research, diagnosing SEO technical issues, and data analysis. Although James studied Digital Media Production with the hopes of going into a career that utilised Flash & Adobe, he saw more opportunities to work with data and make marketing decisions within SEO and loved the rewarding nature of it. However, his background brings a unique and varied skillset to the SEO team, with skills in PPC, project management, attention to detail, HTML coding, and Photoshop. His love of self-teaching SEO hasn’t stopped since James started his SEO career – James is always looking to expand his knowledge, seeing it as very valuable.

James is another outdoorsy member of our team who spends as much time as he can hiking the Yorkshire hills, fields, and woodland areas. While walking is a popular pastime of his, James loves nothing more than training for obstacle course racing! He has taken part in Europes Toughest Mudder 4 times, soon to be 5. His skillset also extends to the kitchen, where he loves to cook quality meat, and when he isn’t doing that, he is working on learning chess and the guitar!
