David Farmer

Head of SEO

After being a freelance web designer in 2001 while studying at Staffordshire University, David first landed a role as a Server Administrator for one of the world’s biggest iGaming brands. However, wanting more exposure in design and development saw him move to a company that introduced SEO to him. For the next 20 years, David worked for several companies, developing hosting, UX, development, and SEO skills, before eventually heading up these areas. David came to us in 2022 for a fresh challenge. His genuine interest in SEO technologies, delivering ROI, and running SEO tests to get the best possible outcomes for clients attracted him to the role here at Click Intelligence.

David’s specialism lies in the technical side of SEO, but he loves building detailed content strategy plans and web development. He is looking for any quick wins openai’s API can present to clients.

Awards and Publications: In his early career, several of David’s projects have been featured in WebUser and Computer Arts magazines as great examples of UX/design. He also presented a talk to web development students in 2019 at Staffordshire University about the importance of making web apps crawlable and indexable.

David lives and breathes everything SEO, UX, and Web Development related, which benefits our clients and us, but when he isn’t learning more about this industry, you will likely find him chilling in a campervan. As a campervan enthusiast and long-distance runner, David likes to spend the free time he has outside – he once ran 108 miles for ‘fun’!
