The world of marketing is constantly having to evolve to keep up with the ever-changing needs and demands of the modern consumer, yet one key factor remains the same.

Google Ads is still one of the most effective methods of paid advertising, allowing brands to reach a large number of users who actively want to use their products or services.

That being said, even if you are already using Google Ads algorithms and are fairly happy with your Google conversion rate, it is always worth finding out about the latest AdWords techniques that can not only show you how to increase conversions in AdWords, but also how to reduce your cost per conversion.

Intrigued yet?

Keep reading to learn about the top eight techniques that have the potential to double your Google AdWords conversion rate without breaking the bank.

Arguably one of the simplest of our tried and tested Google AdWords tricks and techniques, using remarketing as a conversion rate optimization (CRO) tool is a highly effective way to pull back in customers who have shown interest in your site before but did not follow through with a purchase.

In fact, conversion rates are consistently higher when a business implements retargeting and repeatedly shows its ads to people who have viewed them before, but that didn’t result in a conversion

2.   Mirror you ad copy with your landing page

If you are looking for a guaranteed solution to the problem of “how to make Google AdWords more effective”, then look no further than aligning your Google Ads copy with the copy on your landing page.

3.   Make your ads more clickable

This may seem like an obvious way to improve AdWords conversion rate, but you will be surprised at just how many marketers and businesses alike do not take the necessary steps to make their Google Ads more clickable.

On average, for every $1 that a brand invests in Google Ads, they will generate $2 in revenue. So far, so good. Yet, you can easily increase your ROI by making the below small tweaks to your ad copy:

  • Capitalize your title
  • Target the right keywords
  • Place your ad in a premier position
  • Test different keyword match types
